EDC offers a multi-disciplined approach to engineering and design, bringing the firm’s full range of expertise to each project from its inception. A project team of lighting, electrical and telecommunication designers employ a systematic process of analysis and development to design buildings and their settings integrally, providing a unified experience between control and experience of the buildings power, lighting and controls. The members of each team are selected to best suit the client’s needs and the specific requirements of each project.
EDC is committed to designing efficient, energy saving lighting and lighting control systems. Our design goals are consistent with the LEED rating systems in helping our clients to lower operational cost, increase asset value, increase tenant satisfaction and improve productivity. In addition, our design efforts are focused on reusable materials and the reduction of toxic materials used in electrical and telecommunications infrastructures.
SERVICES
Our design services range from electrical distribution both normal and emergency, to communications, life-safety and automation infrastructure. We provide a total coordination of electrical and low voltage infrastructure design for new and modernization projects including commercial and industrial buildings, medical facilities, residential projects, schools and educational support structures. EDC also specializes in lighting design, maintenance evaluation, operating recommendations, power distribution, industrial control and emergency standby power systems.
